Free parking at Suvarnabhumi Airport during APEC meeting

Suvarnabhumi Airport is open for anyone to park for free for a week when the APEC summit kicks off next week.

The airport’s Zone C parking lot will be available for parking around the clock from Nov. 15 to Nov. 21.

A free shuttle bus will carry passengers between the parking area and terminals every 15 minutes throughout the day, with various pick-up points throughout the airport. It stops on the terminals’ first floor.

The cabinet has designated Nov. 16-18 as a special public holiday for the public sector in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan provinces during the summit.

More than 20 countries are expected to participate this year. World leaders such as Justin Trudeau, Xi Jinping, Emmanuel Macron, Fumio Kishida, Vladimir Putin, Kamala Harris, and Lee Hsien Loong are expected to attend.
