Foldable phones set to lure high-end consumers

Foldable smartphones are expected to fuel new demand in the high-end segment, which has been relatively untouched by the pandemic in Thailand, according to IT vendors and analysts.

Some smartphone makers have recently introduced new foldable smartphones to the market, including Samsung and Xiaomi, in a bid to capture the high-end market.

Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 to the market.

The Z Fold3 supports immersive entertainment with a 7.6-inch display that facilitates multitasking and performance, while the Z Flip3 is a device with a sleek, compact and pocketable design, enhanced camera features, and a larger cover screen.
