Floorball Hockey Group | Meetup

If you are from a Western country, you may remember playing Floor Hockey or as it is called here in Thailand, Floorball in Junior or Senior High School.

Unlike Ice Hockey or Roller Hockey, you don’t need to skate and the sticks are plastic which is an equalizer to even the best hockey players.

All ages, skill levels, genders, and nationalities can play equally as well. It is a fun game of hockey without the roughness or dangers associated with ice/roller hockey

The group plays Floorball every Sunday from 7p-9p at Bhutthi Anant Sports Club Bang Na (Sukhumvit 105). Close to BTS BangNa. Big indoor stadium with the proper floor.

All equipment (sticks and ball) supplied. 100bt to play, pay organizer at the event.

Bring Black and White Tshirt, for team designations
Recommend: Soccer socks
Indoor sneakers/basketball type shoes.
A towel to wipe the sweat off.

There is a vendor selling cold refreshments.

We welcome all genders, ages, nationalities, and skill levels. We have players who can teach you how to play. It’s easy.

Here is what it looks like playing at the facility:

If you want to get a good run in and work your cardio in a fun way instead of jogging in the park, you’ll get a great 2-hour workout doing this.

It’s as safe as hockey can be (the ball is soft plastic, hockey sticks soft plastic, no body contact (no checking), and the equipment makes everyone’s skills comparable. It’s fun for everyone.
