Fill your buns with sloppy wieners from Bangkok’s ‘House of Hotdogs’

Croissants, Japanese shokupans, donuts, sho-nuts, sourdough, what’s Bangkok’s next bread-based fetish? Packing long buns with some saucy-ass dogs.

Folks can now get their quintessential New York street food fix from hot dog specialist House of Hotdogs. Opened just last month, it promises Big Apple-style franks, the kind traditionally topped with heaps of sauerkraut, spicy mustard and onions.

They come in a range of options — beef, chicken, pork and vegan – ranging from THB99 to THB129 and including loads of toppings. Think chicken pad krapao (from THB129), jerk chicken (from THB139) and the classic New York (from THB139).

Customers can add condiments including kimchi, sriracha mayo, jerk sauce and truffle mayo.

Entering the dog house remains impossible for now as it’s delivery-only. (Foodpanda, Lineman), but there are plans to open a brick-and-mortar shop.
