Fewer Grab food drivers?

Hey there! I’ve been staying in Phuket last December and January and I never had any issues with food delivery via Grab. Maybe just one ore two times when it was heavy rain.

But now I’m in Phuket for 3 weeks already and I just can’t order food during weekends. Like I make an order and after 10 mins Grab says that they could not find any drivers to deliver my order (despite the weather is just fine).

So I have to use Foodpanda app which has much fewer options to order food from, but, luckily they haven’t failed so far.

So is it a common issue nowadays? Or it is just me who has problems with delivery? I’m staying in Kamala beach area (last time I stayed same area).
