Engineer and Psychologist – job/life prospects?

Just posting this out of general curiosity. I’m mid 30s and married. I absolutely love BKK, for all its flaws. I’ve spent months at a time there and have considered moving for the past 10 years.

I’m currently a biomedical engineer involved with lab automation (with experience in manufacturing, chemistry, robotics, and geology…). , my wife works as a government therapist/manager but also does private practice therapy. We both have masters degrees from US universities.

Are there any realistic job prospects for us in BKK? Any expat engineers out there with insight?

I have a basic grasp of Thai language which I would dedicate myself to learning fluently if we decided to take the leap. I can already read and write (albeit slowly).

Just pondering over here. Thanks all
