Women’s doubles pair Jongkolphan Kititharakul and Rawinda Prajongjai and mixed doubles duo Supak Jomkoh and Supissara Paewsampran bowed out in the semi-finals of the US$750,000 Denmark Open in Odense yesterday.
Sixth seeds Jongkolphan and Rawinda crashed out after losing to top seeds Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan of China 21-17, 21-15 at the BWF World Tour Super 750 event at Jyske Bank Arena.
Chen and Jia will play unseeded Baek Ha-Na and Lee So-Hee after the Korean pair fought back to upset third seeds Nami Matsuyama and Chiharu Shida of Japan 15-21, 21-18, 21-14.
