Don’t throw rotten eggs or be mean to PM Prayuth, police warn

Please do not pelt the prime minister with eggs when he comes to use your calamity for a photo backdrop.

Before the former army commander visited the south today to tour flood devastation, residents this morning were given a list of prohibited behavior, including throwing rotten eggs and scolding the famously thin-skinned PM.

The rules were announced by police in Nakhon Si Thammarat on Thursday before Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha’s afternoon visit to survey flood prevention plans there. The four rules forbade locals from “throwing eggs or rotten eggs” at the prime minister, scolding him in vulgar language, burning a portrait of Prayuth or any member of the royal family and posting the photo of Prayuth on social media.

Those who disobey the rules will be prosecuted, the post warned.
