Do you need to book experiences and boat tours in advance in Phuket, Phi Phi and Krabi? 📆🚤

Hi everyone.

We are going to Phuket, Phi Phi and Krabi 16/12/22-8/1/23, and we want to see some different things, some planned and some more spontaneous. This is our first time in Thailand (and in Asia).

I’ve heard many people say that you don’t need to book most things, but maybe this is different after Covid?

**We want to visit James Bond Island via boat tour on Sunday 18/12/22 and Phuket Elephant Sanctuary on Monday 19/12/22.**
**In your experience, can you just walk up on the day and buy a ticket on spot?**

We would also like to know in general if you need to book a speedboat in advance (e.g., coming from Krabi to Phuket).

We tried writing the boat tour service on Facebook in English and translated Thai, but we got no response (they did read our message though).

Thank you in advance! 🤗👍🏻
