Credit card is blocked by MRT system

Hello together!

I have a little problem with using tap to pay at the MRT gates: When I arrived and took the MRT it let me in, when i tapped my credit card at the gate.

While entering the train I got a notification from my banking app, that they payment was blocked, because I had forgotten to enable contactless payment for that card. I get it, my fault. I enabled it and then went to the ticket office, at the station where I wanted to exit, cause the gate wouldn't let me out. They were confused and just let me out.

The next time when I tried to enter the MRT it wouldn't let me in, saying the my "card isn't a valid EMV card" (or something along the lines) at the gate. I tried it a few times and also with different gates. I then went to the ticket office and asked if they can see whats wrong and the staff showed me this message on their card reader:

And then told me they are not able to do anything. I also asked them to try the exit gate again, which they let me do, but I couldn't exit again. On their web portal it says my first transaction was blocked, which makes sense. At their hotline I stayed in a queue for 30+ min with nobody picking up and I'm not even sure if they could solve the problem there.

There has to be some way though to unblock a credit card? Did anybody had the same or a similar problem before and somehow managed to unblock their card?
