Investment company to focus on crypto and digital tech
Mr Tommy says Pi Ventures seeks investment in global companies in the digital space.
SET-listed Country Group Holdings (CGH) plans to enter the digital asset sector through Pi Ventures, a new subsidiary that plans to invest up to 500 million baht in cryptocurrency projects and digital technology companies.
Tommy Taechaubol, chief executive of CGH, said Pi Ventures will seek to invest in global companies operating in the digital space. Preference will be given to companies with a business model that complements CGH’s securities and asset management businesses, excluding new projects involved with the metaverse.
