Get into the Christmas spirit early this year by checking out how the Danish do up the holiday at a Christmas lunch party taking place at their embassy on Nov. 25.
Registration for the event starts at 11:30 am and the buffet bar will open at 12:00 pm. The party will feature live music including jolly Christmas carols and other holiday classics.
From 12:30 to 12:45 there will be welcome remarks by ambassador Jon Thorgaard. At 4 pm, there will be a Lucky Draw before the event concludes at 5 pm.
As in previous years, Scandinavian restaurant Stable Lodge will be providing a mouth-watering menu of traditional Danish Christmas cuisine.
The spread will include smoked salmon gravlax with dill mustard dressing, smoked mackerel, and three kinds of marinated herring (curry, tomato, and herb). There will also be desserts…
