Buriram United coach Masatada Ishii is looking forward to wrapping up the Thai League 1 title with wins in the next two games.
The defending champions won 1-0 at Nongbua thanks to Jonathan Bolingi’s 23rd-minute strike on Sunday night.
After 23 of 30 games, Buriram have 61 points, 12 ahead of Bangkok United.
“The pitch and the opponents’ defensive tactics made it difficult for us to play,” said Ishii, whose men remain unbeaten this term.
“However, if we win the next two games, we will become champions again. But we will have to keep on fighting, starting with the next game against Khon Kaen.”
