Fresh from a recent sold-out reunion show at London’s Wembley Stadium earlier this month, British pop giants Blur have announced a special livestream performance titled “Blur – The Ballad Of Darren Album Show” for global fans where the band will be playing songs from their upcoming new album The Ballad Of Darren. The performance will take place on July 26 and will be livestreamed at 3.30am Bangkok time.
Blur — vocalist Damon Albarn, guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree — are set to release their ninth studio album tomorrow. The album will be the band’s first record in eight years in which they teamed up with producer James Ford on the record, while the artwork was shot by celebrated British photographer Martin Parr. The quartet have been playing live shows all summer (their first for nearly a decade).
