Bar Yard: Langsuan gets tropical rooftop bar with a park view

While a new five-star hotel landing in Soi Langsuan can’t welcome its first guests due to the pandemic, its rooftop bar couldn’t wait any longer – it knows Bangkok’s need for evening escapes with a view.

Atop the Kimpton Maa-lai Bangkok – slated to open next month – perch chill vibes and the tropically lush space of Bar Yard, evoking the back yard-for-all feel it’s aiming for. The venue has been the talk of the town of late for its great views of the city, serious cocktails and delicious grilled Tex-Mex dishes. 

From the hotel lobby, patrons are shot up to the 40th floor to savor al fresco dining and drinking with a 180-degree view of skyscrapers blending with the greenery of Lumphini Park.
