Bang Lamung —
On October 13th, 2023, at Luk Pla Apartments in Banglamung, Chonburi, Mrs. Pikun Somnuan, president of the housewives group of Soi Na Kluea 11, held a community volunteer charity event by distributing packs of rice in remembrance of his royal majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, or Rama IX.
For the seven-year anniversary of the passing of His Royal Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Pikun distributed 5-kilogram packs of rice to a total of 1,000 units to locals and garbage collectors from Eastern Green World. There were many people waiting for queue cards to collect the rice.
Pikun revealed to the public that she will hold a similar community volunteer project every year on October 13th, until her health prohibits her from doing so.
