Bangkok Post – Thai Citizens Encouraged to Watch Must-See Chip Documentary

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand recently invited Thais to attend the local premiere of the documentary film “A Chip Odyssey.” This event is in collaboration with TK Park and the Golden Sunshine Charity Foundation, with support from the Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Association of Thailand and the Taiwanese business community in Thailand.

The screening was organized under the guidance of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee. Vision Thai served as the media partner for the event.

This documentary delves into the escalating global “chip war,” spotlighting Taiwan’s crucial role in global technology. It illustrates how Taiwan, despite being a resource-scarce island, has transformed into a vital hub for semiconductor manufacturing.

Through this lens, “A Chip Odyssey” highlights Taiwan’s remarkable evolution from a resource-dependent economy to a leading player in the world of technology, showcasing its significance in the international market.
