Anxious Americans: Where to party with your party on election morning in Bangkok

Those Americans still among us that haven’t overdosed on anxiety, opioids or hydroxychloroquine have two options to tribe up Wednesday morning and watch returns from the U.S. Presidential election.

While nothing can be predicted – landslide? delay? civil war? – the competing overseas chapters of the Democratic and Republican parties are holding dueling watch parties. Fortunately, both will have alcohol in ready supply.

Donald Trump’s Republicans have confidently named their event the Trump Victory Party. It will go down at the Bourbon Street Restaurant in the Tana Arcade Alley on Ekkamai Road, a brief walk from BTS Ekkamai. It starts at 7:30am.

“Join fellow Republicans Wednesday morning as we enjoy another surprise (to our opponents) Trumpian landside [sic] victory!  American breakfast and coffee served!” Republicans Overseas announced.
