Anthony Albanese wins as new Aussie prime minister

Anthony Albanese has won the Australian election. and became the first Prime Minister from the Labor Party in nearly a decade. Overthrow a coalition government led by former Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

Mr Albanese told joyous advocates: Australian citizens vote for change and that he will create unity among the people and invest in social services including ending the war on climate change.

Mr Morrison expressed his gratitude for the miracle of the Australian people. while admitting his own defeat

However, it remains unclear whether Labor is able to hold the majority. Labor has won 72 of the 151 seats in the lower house of the House of Commons, while Morrison’s National Liberal Front has 55.

It remains to be seen whether the Labor Party will be able to hold 76 seats in the lower house to give them a majority. Otherwise, support from the Green Party and independent candidates raising climate change may be needed to form the next government.
