An all-French affair at Sala Sudasiri Sobha

Violinist Yada Lee and pianist Kant Lormsomboon will return to Sala Sudasiri Sobha throne hall for an evening of all-French music, on Sunday at 4pm.

Titled “Après Un Rêve… After A Dream”, the concert will feature chamber music works such as César Franck’s Sonata For Violin And Piano In A Major and Gabriel Fauré’s Sonata No.1 In A Major.

The two titans are parted by Nocturne, a lesser-known work by Lili Boulanger, a French prodigy from Paris and the first female to win the Prix de Rome composition prize. The programme will conclude with Fauré’s popular song Après Un Rêve.

The evening performance will be a journey back in time to the turn of the 20th century…
