AFC joins talks with the Football Association of Thailand To enhance the management of all football matches in Asia

“Big Odd” Pol. Gen. Somyot Phumphanmuang President of the Football Association of Thailand Has opened the association’s office to welcome Datuk Seri Windsor John, Secretary General of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) on the occasion of meeting and discussing the development of football at the Asian level. and at the national level, where the President of the Association has served as the Board of the Executive Committee as well as chair of the Asian Football Security Committee.

At the meeting, Khun Patit Suphaphong, Secretary-General and Ms. Piyapat Sarobol, Deputy Secretary-General attended and listened to information about AFC’s approach to improving club football competitions. (AFC Champions League and AFC Cup) that will introduce a completely new format after the 2023/2024 season.

Currently, it is in the consideration of the working group. There were also discussions about various projects. The AFC has a project to support member countries. After being affected by the COVID-19 epidemic situation, many activities absolutely has not returned to normal including the AFC quota Champions League where the AFC acknowledges the club’s resolutions endorsed by the Board of Directors.
