Although the rules for travel to Thailand are getting easier, it still isn’t a case of booking a flight ticket and away you go. If you’re looking to travel to Thailand in 2021 or the first half of 2022, there are some important points to take into consideration before you go. That’s not to say you shouldn’t travel. Far from it. In many ways, this is a great time to be a tourist in Thailand with quiet beaches and uncrowded attractions. At the same time, there are still local restrictions in place that visitors need to be aware of. 

The Thai authorities have taken a softly-softly approach to the reopening of the country with restrictions being reviewed every two weeks.
