About the club scene.

Hi! I’m not a huge club person overall and haven’t been to that many clubs when I traveled, but me and my husband checked out couple night clubs at Patong yesterday since it seems to be kind of an integral part of the tourist life here.

I was surprised about the vibe. We were out at around midnight, and visited The Sugar Club and Armania. We noticed that there was a huge amount of tables at each and people were mainly drinking and standing around.

In Finland my experience is that clubbing is very much centered around dancing so that was surprising. Is the vibe always like this here, or is it due to the season, Fifa or the DJ playing at Illuzion last night? Are some clubs more about dancing than these?

Total noob to all this so just curious about how it’s so different than what I’m used to.
