Half a dozen oysters and a few glasses of Champagne? We’re up for that pretty much any time of day (yes, that includes the morning, don’t judge). CRAFT, the breezy ground-floor cafe at the Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok hotel in Langsuan, is launching an oyster and drink pairing menu this December that will help you scratch that itch — sans the day-drinking part.
They are calling the event “Oyster Boost”, with the “boost” part presumably referring to the gin and sparkling wine pairings that go with the selection of oysters — Fine De Claire, Huîtres Marennes, Tsraskaya and Gillardeau, if you were curious. Top them off with your favorite ponzu, spicy seafood, red wine shallots sauce or a wedge of lemon. More snacks from the nearby Ms.Jigger are available if you want something more substantial like an antipasti platter.
