A greybeard of late-20th century comedy and High Minister of Silly Walks is coming to Bangkok to spread some good cheer by confronting the world’s darkness.
Best known as a founding member of ground-breaking British comedy team Monty Python, actor and writer John Cleese John Cleese will take the stage in January as part of his Why There Is No Hope comedy tour, organizer Live Nation Tero announced on Monday afternoon.
The 82-year-old comedian, who last year wrote the well-received Creativity: A Short and Cheerful Guide, established a brand of deadpan humor along with the likes of Graham Chapman, Eric Idle, and Michael Palin that has influenced humor for decades.
