Thai League 1 will resume next month and finish on March 28, officials said on Friday.
Thai League Co acting chairman Korrawee Pritsananantakul said after a meeting with Thai League 1 and 2 clubs that the two leagues will resume on Feb 6.
However, a rearranged T1 game between champions Chiang Rai United and Port will take place on Jan 31, he said.
All matches in T1 and T2 scheduled for this month were postponed after a new surge in coronavirus cases as the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) prohibited certain activities.
Korrawee said the season would not be extended with T1 ending on March 28 and T2 on March 31.
