A Chinese woman rear-ended a 74-year-old woman on a Pattaya road and injured her along with two other Thai nationals.
Yesterday, May 30th, Na Jomtien Police received a report that a sedan had collided with three vehicles on Sukhumvit Road, inbound to Sattahip in Chonburi province. Upon receiving the report, the officers and rescue workers from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation immediately dispatched a team to the scene for investigation.
At the accident scene, a gray Mazda 2 sedan was found damaged, with a cracked front windshield. The driver’s name was Ms. Lv Xie, a 43-year-old Chinese national, who was waiting for assistance from the police.
In close proximity, a green Honda Zoomer X and a white/blue Suzuki RC motorcycle were found fallen on the road. Three injured individuals were also discovered namely, Ms. Ing-on Chaisaeng, 58, Ms. Fah Khamking, 22, and Ms. Kesorn Jaroonsan, 74. They received initial medical aide from the rescuers and were subsequently transported to nearby hospitals.
Local media went to interview 74-year-old Ms. Kesorn about the accident. She stated that while she was riding her motorcycle on the road to feed her dogs, just as she approached the area of the incident, her vehicle was hit from behind by Ms. LV’s sedan. The Chinese woman’s car then collided with Ms. Fah and Ms. Ing-on’s motorbikes, resulting in their injuries.
According to local media, Ms. Lv did not provide any statements about the accident. However, Na Jomtien Police said they would summon her along with the victims for inquiries and possible traffic charges against the Chinese national later. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=–=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
