The four cubs, which were underweight when they were rescued last month in northeastern Thailand, were well on the road to recovery today, according to wildlife officials, who released footage of them happily snoozing together.
National park officials said last night that the two male and two female cubs were under veterinary care at a wildlife facility in Ubon Ratchathani province.
The cubs; named Mukda, Sawan, Kham Khong, and Kham Daen; are cheerful and healthy and being fed milk powder every three to four hours.
The cubs, which initially weighed between 2 kilograms and 3 kilograms, now weigh upward of 6 kilograms.
