Media company and streaming platform HyperLiveEntertainment has signed a strategic partnership with esports organisation NovaEsports.
The partnership will see the two companies establish a new Nova Esports Southeast Asian headquarters in Singapore, as well as create a new esports team in Singapore called Nova SG.
Nova Esports and HyperLive Entertainment also announced plans to create an esports academy in Singapore, though did not disclose details.
Nova Esports is one of the best-known mobile esports organisations in the world. Founded in 2016 in Hong Kong, it fields teams in Call of Duty Mobile, Game for Peace, FIFA, and most notably PUBG: MOBILE where the organisation won the PUBG Mobile Global Championship in 2020 and 2021.
