Mr Ustuner says more than 50% of Hitachi-branded home appliances in the world are produced in Thailand.
Arçelik Hitachi Home Appliances has chosen Thailand as the location for its headquarters, in order to strengthen its production power and position in the rapidly growing Asian market.
The company employs more than 5,200 people in Thailand and believes the kingdom is one of the key markets for it to succeed, with Thai consumers’ growing purchasing power, their need for quality products, the country’s modern infrastructure as well as a skilled workforce.
