Hot pots aren’t just for family reunions anymore. Foodies and fans of spicy pots o’ hot have been heading to a new spot in Siam Square where meats and veggies are seasoned with tongue-numbing mala.
Years in the making, Chinese joint Da Tang Hotpot was recently opened by the folks from Nice Two Meat U, Fire Tiger by Seoulcial Club, and Mil Toast House.
“We have prepared for four years. Shabu [Japanese hot pot] is my favorite food, so we’ve been tasting many recipes to select the best hot pot. And today we are ready to open Da Tang Hot Pot,” owner Chutima Pruengmethangkul said.
The restaurant has a modern Chinese den vibe with authentic hot pot options. The menu includes suki and shabu, and diners can choose from four soups: spicy mala, pepper, vegetables, and stewed rice.
