SONGKHLA: Local officials and police raided a restaurant pub in Hat Yai district and arrested 24 customers and employees on Monday night for breaking Covid-19 restrictions on Valentine’s Day.
The raid on Feeling Hatyai pub on Nuan Kaew Uthit road in Kho Hong Municipality was led by two assistant district chiefs, backed up by Hat Yai police. It followed complaints from nearby residents about the loud music being played there.
They found the place was packed with customers eating, drinking and dancing to live music played on the stage.
