25,615 new Covid cases, 40 more deaths

Thailand registered 40 more Covid-19 fatalities and a record 25,615 new cases during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Saturday morning.

This compared with the 41 coronavirus-related fatalities and 24,932 new cases reported on Friday morning.

There were 25,449 local cases and 166 imported ones.

On Friday, 14,641 Covid-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus.

Since the pandemic started in early 2020, there have been 2,844,897 Covid-19 cases, including 621,462 cases this year, with 2,621,004 complete recoveries to date.
