22,818 new Covid cases, 52 more deaths

Thailand registered 52 more Covid-19 fatalities and 22,818 new cases during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Saturday morning.

This compared with the 54 coronavirus-related fatalities and 23,834 new cases reported on Friday morning.

There were 22,681 local cases and 137 imported ones.

On Friday, 18,462 Covid-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus.

Since the pandemic started in early 2020, there have been 3,004,814 Covid-19 cases, including 781,379 cases this year, with 2,749,491 complete recoveries to date.
