The country registered 65 more Covid-19 fatalities and 21,162 new cases during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Monday morning.
This compared with the 59 coronavirus-related fatalities and 21,881 new cases reported on Sunday morning.
There were 21,060 local cases and 102 imported ones.
On Sunday, 23,159 Covid-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus while 230,459 others were at hospitals.
Since the pandemic started in early 2020, there have been 3,047,857 Covid-19 cases, including 824,422 this year, with 2,794,098 complete recoveries to date.
